Nandi Bharwa Lal Mirch Anchar is a traditional Indian pickle made with red chillies, tamarind, jaggery and spices. It is a very popular condiment in North India and is often served alongside meals. The red chillies are fried and then mixed with tamarind, jaggery, fenugreek, cumin, mustard, red chilli powder, turmeric, asafoetida, coriander and other spices. The pickle is then left to marinate for a few days before serving. The taste of the pickle is tangy and spicy, with a hint of sweetness from the jaggery.
